Latécoère stock plummets 13% after EBITDA divided by six
The stock of the Toulouse-based aerospace structures manufacturer faces significant selling pressure following the release of its half-yearly results, which reveal a decline in profitability despite sustained revenue growth. The drop propels the stock among the most abandoned securities on the Paris exchange in early afternoon trading.
EBITDA in sharp decline sanctioning growth with degraded profitability
The aerospace group published on September 22, 2026 its results for the first half of 2026, closed as of June 30. Revenue growth increased by 15.2%, driven by organic growth of 19%, fueled by the ramp-ups in the aerospace industry. However, profitability collapsed: current EBITDA fell to 3.7 million euros in the first half, compared to 22.3 million a year earlier. The group attributes this deterioration to costs related to ramp-ups, inflationary pressures, supply chain tensions and an unfavorable foreign exchange environment.
In its outlook, the group now expects current EBITDA for the full year 2026 to be below the level achieved in 2025, an explicit downward revision that stands in contrast to previous expectations. This cautious guidance concentrates most of the market's selling reaction on Wednesday.
A share price at 0.013€ in territory of the steepest declines, well above its short-term averages
Latécoère falls 13.33% in trading at 0.013€, in a context of a globally stable market (the CAC 40 declines by 0.34% in session, the SBF 120 by 0.35%). Ranked 318th out of 320 members of the CAC All Shares, the stock is among the steepest declines of the broad Paris index. Over the past three months, it has already lost 12.08%, and the session significantly worsens this decline. The short-term moving averages remain well below the price: both the 20-day MA and the 50-day MA are at 0.01€, representing a 30% gap below the current level, reflecting a stock that had significantly rebounded from its recent lows before this session.
Conversely, the 200-day MA at 0.02€ dominates the price by 35%, confirming that the underlying trend over the medium term remains oriented downward. The RSI at 52, neutral, does not signal an oversold condition. The identified support level is at 0.01€, a level that coincides with the short-term moving averages, while resistance at 0.02€ corresponds to the 200-day MA.
