Le Slip Français Share Declines Despite Profitable Semester
The stock retreats during trading as the French-made underwear brand publishes unprecedented half-yearly results in its history. The Paris market, meanwhile, edges up slightly.
Net Income of €2,000, First Break-Even First Half in Fifteen Years
Le Slip Français shares fall 1.24% to €12.70 following the release of its first half 2026 results. The group, listed on Euronext Growth Paris since July 14, posts a net income of €2,000, compared with a loss of €133,000 a year earlier. Its Chief Executive Officer, Guillaume Gibault, emphasizes that the company had never achieved profitability in the first half of a fiscal year over a fifteen-year period, a season traditionally less productive than the year-end period.
Published revenue declines by 5%, due to store closures, and EBITDA remains flat: the group indicates it has reinvested its margin gains in its teams, industrial assets and customer acquisition. Meanwhile, the CAC 40 gains 0.23% and the SBF 120 0.28% at mid-session.
Share Trading Above 20 and 50-Day Moving Averages, Below 200-Day Average
In terms of price movement, the share remains 9.67% above its 20-day MA (€11.58) and 0.87% above its 50-day MA (€12.59), but 2.61% below its 200-day MA (€13.04). The latter marks the upper limit of the movement over recent months: the share loses 14.19% over three months, while the €13.40 resistance level has not been broken through. The RSI at 56 is neutral.
For the share, the challenge of the semester was to demonstrate that the margin generated could finance growth without deteriorating earnings. The accounts published today answer this question for the first half of 2026. The 200-day MA level at €13.04 is the closest benchmark to monitor in the sessions ahead.
