Medincell share among the most sought-after values of the SBF 120, +8% in one week
After last Friday's decline, Medincell regains momentum this Monday, in a quasi-stable SBF 120. The share benefits from an improving technical context, although several resistance levels remain to be overcome for the rebound of the past week to prove sustainable.
A rebound that places the share above its 20-day moving average, in an index at a standstill
Medincell gains 2.09% during the session, at €23.50, while the SBF 120 advances by barely 0.03%. With this movement, the share posts one of the best performances of the SBF 120 at midday and extends a rebound initiated early in the week, which represents nearly 8% over seven days. The price moves back above the 20-day moving average at €22.64, with a difference of 3.80%, which marks a significant improvement compared to recent sessions where the share was trading below all its averages.
Conversely, the 50-day moving average at €24.06 and the 200-day moving average at €24.90 remain above the current price, at differences of 2.33% and 5.62% respectively. The RSI at 50 signals a neutral configuration, without excess on either side, which leaves room for movement in both directions. The technical resistance identified at €24.88 remains the next reference to monitor, less than 6% from the current price.
Teva clinical data and shareholder meeting on September 30 in the background
The renewed interest in the share comes within a context marked by the presentation, during the Psych Congress 2026, of new clinical data by Teva on two treatments based on Medincell's BEPO technology, including extended-release olanzapine for which an FDA decision is expected by the end of the year. These presentations, held from September 15 to 19 in New Orleans, coincided with the share's rebound on September 22. Over a three-month horizon, the decline remains pronounced: the share still loses nearly 9.55% over three months, a sign that the underlying momentum remains fragile despite the rebound of the week.
Moreover, analysts' consensus values the share on the basis of a very high multiple for the current fiscal year, which reflects the biotechnology profile of the group, whose expected profits still largely depend on upcoming regulatory milestones. The shareholder meeting is scheduled for September 30.
