Metavisio: first half positive at operating level, at €0.069M, revenue of €7.5M
Metavisio published its audited and certified half-year accounts on 2 November 2026, approved by the board of directors on 30 October 2026. The manufacturer of Thomson-branded computers and tablets posted an operating profit of €0.069M, compared with an operating loss of €0.765M a year earlier.
According to the company, this is the first time the first half has closed with a positive operating result, whereas most of its activity is usually concentrated in the second half. Net income, at €0.043M, is however lower than the €0.1M recorded in the first half of 2025, which had benefited from a financial result of €0.869M.
Revenue of €7.5M and operations at break-even
Over the first six months of 2026, Metavisio recorded net revenue of €7.5M, up from €6.8M in the first half of 2025. Operating income stood at €0.069M, after a loss of €0.765M over the same period of the previous year.
The company attributes this return to positive territory in particular to the reduction of its structural costs and the increase in its net margins. It also cites a shift of its flows towards sea freight, which it presents as far more profitable for the company.
These developments are part of a cost-reduction plan launched by the group, in parallel with the strengthening of its ranges aimed at businesses (BtoB) and the general public (BtoC). Management stresses that this approach was carried out in a geopolitical and economic environment that it describes as complex.
Net income now driven by operations, no longer by financial results
The decline in net income is explained by the composition of the accounts. In the first half of 2025, the financial result of €0.869M had more than offset the operating loss of €0.765M, allowing the group to report a current pre-tax result and a net income of €0.1M.
In 2026, the situation has reversed: the financial result stands at -€0.0026M, and it is now operations that drive the result. The current pre-tax result reaches €0.04M and net income €0.043M, which, according to the company, was obtained without benefiting from exceptional financial gains as in the previous year.
What the figures really reveal therefore depends less on the level of profit than on its origin. The drop in net income from one half-year to the next corresponds to the disappearance of a financial gain, while current activity moved from a loss of €0.765M to a gain of €0.069M.
Agreements with Also and SCC open up public tenders and key accounts
For the rest of the financial year, Metavisio says it is continuing to reduce its fixed costs while developing its sales along three axes: the general public, businesses and large groups, and public procurement.
The signing in July 2026 of the wholesaler Also and the reseller SCC should in particular allow it to respond to tenders from large companies and the French State.
On 8 October 2026, Thomson Computing also listed its professional range with the distributor Also, a step included in its development plan for 2027, following the signing of agreements with three investment funds.
The company states that these agreements have already enabled it to achieve, as of 30 October 2026, revenue and orders that would double its revenue forecast for 31 December 2026. This statement comes at a time when, according to the group, the second half concentrates most of its annual activity.
