Mexedia: its subsidiary Stantup extends its partnership with Fastweb until end of 2028
Mexedia S.p.A. Società Benefit, listed on Euronext Growth Paris, announced on October 26, 2026 the extension of the collaboration between its subsidiary Stantup Service, in which it holds 51% of the capital, and Fastweb S.p.A. This renewal comes several months after Mexedia's takeover of Stantup, which became effective on August 10, 2026.
A collaboration initiated in 2023 with Fastweb's entry into energy
The relationship between the two companies dates back to June 2023, with the launch of the project to build the operational and technological infrastructure dedicated to Fastweb's new Energy activity. It was formalized in October 2023 by an agreement concerning the outsourced management of end-to-end processes. In April 2024, during the official presentation of its electricity offer at the "Switch-On" event, Fastweb selected Stantup as its operational and technological partner.
In 2026, Stantup's platforms supported the launch of Fastweb's new Gas offer, thereby expanding its portfolio of services. The operational scope covered by Stantup includes contracting, connection, billing, collection, reconciliation, renewal, credit management and back-office services.
A contractual horizon extended to December 31, 2028
The partnership is now extended until December 31, 2028. According to Mexedia, following the phase of building the processes, systems and expertise necessary for Fastweb's entry into the energy market, this renewal opens a phase of consolidation and evolution of an already operational platform.
The platform is expected, according to the press release, to support new products, growing volumes and a higher level of automation. Stantup indicates that it will continue to invest in the scalability capacity of its systems, in technological evolution and in process automation.
Stantup, the first subsidiary of Mexedia's industrial holding model
For Mexedia, this agreement confirms the industrial holding model adopted by the company, which combines direct management of historical activities with the control and development of specialized operating companies. Stantup is the first company to enter the group's scope according to this model.
Paolo Bona, Chief Executive Officer of Mexedia, believes that this renewal "rewards Stantup's ability to quickly translate complex operational needs into processes and platforms". Giuseppe Dell'Acqua Brunone, Chief Executive Officer of Stantup, highlights "the numerous software implementations carried out in 2026 and the rapid launch of the Gas offer".
