Schneider Electric share rebounds but down -19% over one month
The share of the Rueil-Malmaison equipment manufacturer recovers at close, in a rising CAC 40, after several weeks of decline. This rebound occurs a few days before the publication of its quarterly revenue.
A rebound of 1.86% that leaves the share far from its moving averages
The Schneider Electric share gains 1.86% to €235.70, while the CAC 40 advances 0.83%. This recovery only erases a small part of the recent slide: the share remains down 19% over one month and down 6.95% over the week. The price is still below its three moving averages, 10.22% below the 20-day MA (€262.52), 15.83% below the 50-day MA and 12.14% below the 200-day MA.
The RSI at 29 reflects the extent of the decline, while support at €231.40 is less than 2% from the current price. The decline accelerated following the announcement of the acquisition of PTC for approximately 22 billion euros, in early October.
A capital increase of 6 billion euros before the revenue announcement on October 29
The group announced on October 20 the success of a capital increase of approximately 6 billion euros, launched the previous day without preferential subscription rights and intended to finance the acquisition of PTC. Schneider Electric had also raised its annual adjusted EBITA target on October 16, with revenue of €11,460 million in the third quarter, up 16.9% organically. Among comparable stocks, Legrand gains 1.49% today, but falls 6.6% over one month. The next milestone is scheduled for October 29, with the publication of third quarter 2026 revenue.
