Michelin Launches Mindful Voices and Ends Green Star by 2026
Michelin Guide introduces Mindful Voices, a new editorial initiative aimed at highlighting inspiring figures in gastronomy, hospitality, and wine. This initiative is part of the Guide's expansion beyond its traditional scope.
An Editorial Platform Focused on Responsible Commitments
Mindful Voices showcases the inspiring practices of chefs, hoteliers, and wine producers committed to the responsible development of their sectors. The initiative gives a voice to those transforming their fields through innovation and new practices. This initiative reflects the inspiring encounters observed by the Guide's team of inspectors in the field, while raising awareness of global issues. Gwendal Poullennec, the international director of the Michelin Guide, emphasizes that this approach is true to the DNA and values of the institution.
Gradual Rollout Starting June 2026
The new initiative will be launched on June 1, 2026, during the Michelin Guide ceremony for the Nordic countries in Copenhagen. It will feature an editorial tab 'Mindful Voices' accessible from the homepage of the website and app, offering profiles, in-depth articles, and coverage of events involving these personalities. The rollout will gradually extend across Europe and then globally in 2026. The initiative will start with gastronomy, then expand to hospitality and wine. Concurrently, the Green Star initiative, limited to gastronomy, will be discontinued.
