Nicox will present NCX 470 data at the 2026 AAOpt annual meeting
The ophthalmology laboratory based in Biot announced that it would present scientific data on its NCX 470 candidate at the annual meeting of the American Academy of Optometry, scheduled for September 30 to October 3, 2026 in Anaheim, United States.
This communication is part of a schedule of participation in several ophthalmology, financial and industry conferences in the second half of 2026.
Two presentations focused on phase 3 trials
Nicox detailed two presentations scheduled for October 1, 2026 in Anaheim. The first, an oral presentation, will focus on the American subgroup of the Denali trial, a randomized trial comparing NCX 470 0.1% to latanoprost 0.005% in patients with open-angle glaucoma or ocular hypertension.
The second, a poster, will address the aqueous humor dynamics of NCX 470, as part of a phase 3b double-blind, placebo-controlled clinical trial. For the oral presentation, the speaker will be Nora Cothran, optometrist. For the poster, the speaker will be Siobhan Garbutt, Vice President and Director of Clinical Development of the company.
A conference schedule for the second half of 2026
The company specified that data from its Denali, Whistler and Mont Blanc clinical trials had already been presented at several ophthalmology conferences. According to Siobhan Garbutt, the AAOpt represents an opportunity to share this data directly with the optometry community, involved in the diagnosis and management of glaucoma.
Nicox also announced its participation in the American Academy of Ophthalmology meeting (October 9-12, 2026 in New Orleans) and the Investor Access event (October 6-7, 2026 in Paris), with individual meetings offered to participants.
