S.E.B. Share: 17.5% increase in three months, the stock rebounds by nearly 2%
The small appliance manufacturer is recovering during the session, in a Paris market oriented upwards. This rebound comes after a series of difficult sessions, initiated by the arrival of a new chief executive officer at the head of the Écully-based group.
A rebound that remains below the 50-day moving average
The S.E.B. share gains 1.89% to €56.55 during the session, while the SBF 120 advances by 0.62%. The price is above the MA20 (€55.69, difference of +1.54%) but remains below the MA50 (€57.48, difference of -1.62%), a threshold that the stock has not yet reclaimed despite the rebound. The RSI at 47 remains neutral. The decline of more than 2% on October 12 had brought the stock towards €55, and today's gains recover part of that loss. Support is located at €52.70 and resistance at €60.55, representing a range of nearly 8 euros within which the stock has been trading since the beginning of the month.
A Paris market supported despite tension over French debt
The CAC 40 advances by 0.58% during the session, while the 10-year OAT stands at 4.86% according to the Bank of France report from October 12, 5 basis points from its recent peak. Deputies have been examining the first part of the 2027 budget since October 13, with a vote expected on October 20. Today's session is rather well-oriented: the CAC 40 gains 0.58% and the SBF 120 0.62%. S.E.B. is outperforming a large portion of the index but does not rank among the strongest gainers.
Over three months, the stock maintains a lead of 17.52%, compared to near-stability over one month (-0.35%). Based on the consensus of surveyed analysts, the stock is trading at approximately 9.7 times current fiscal year earnings. Chief Executive Officer Loïc Moutault, formerly of Mars, took office on October 1.
