Stellantis share rebounds by 3% and moves back above its 20-day moving average
In a well-oriented Paris market, Stellantis regains momentum this Friday and ranks among the most dynamic values in the index. The rebound occurs as July French vehicle registrations reveal two opposite trajectories among major manufacturers operating in France.
A 3% rebound that pushes Stellantis back above its 20-day moving average
Stellantis gains 3% during the session at €4.71, after closing the previous day at €4.57. The security thus moves back above its MA20 at €4.67, with a difference of +0.86%, marking a first technical improvement since several sessions below this threshold. However, the MA50 at €4.91 remains above the price, constituting the next resistance zone to overcome, while the MA200 at €6.81 testifies to the scale of the medium-term decline, with the security trading approximately 31% below this long-term reference.
The RSI at 44 remains in neutral territory, without signals of bullish exhaustion or oversold conditions. The next identified resistance is situated at €5.28, representing a gap of approximately 12% compared to the current price.

Data published yesterday by the PFA on the French automobile market for July 2026 illustrate a commercial downturn for Stellantis in its historical market: the group declined by 2.35% in registrations over the month, while the French market progressed overall by 3.7% year-on-year to 153,746 units. Renault, which is among comparable peers, advanced by 4.41% over the same period and also gained more than 3% during the session this Friday. On the fundamentals side, during the publication of first-half 2026 results (July 23, 2026), Stellantis highlighted BEV order intakes from small and medium fleets rising 140% year-on-year as a growth lever, while signaling that the alignment of electric van prices with diesel was weighing on margins.
Based on expected earnings, the security trades around 8.6 times current fiscal year profits according to the consensus of surveyed analysts. Despite today's rebound, the one-year performance remains severe at -42.39%, and the security maintains a support level to monitor at €4.38.
