Valeo Stock: 8.5% Lost in One Week, the Share Recovers 1.5%

A rebound that does not close the week's decline

Valeo stock gains 1.61% to €13.86, while the CAC 40 advances 0.58% and the SBF 120 rises 0.62%. Today's gain does not erase the 8.42% decline recorded over seven days: it only mitigates it. Over one month, the share remains down 6.45%, but it retains a gain of 10.79% over three months. The price remains below its MA20 and MA50, both at €14.43 (gap of 3.95%).

The MA200, at €12.85, remained below the price: it is situated 7.86% lower. The support at €13.41 is less than 3% from the current price. The decline of October 8 following the BofA downgrade had already opened this downward sequence. On the value, Valeo stock is trading at approximately 9.2 times current fiscal year earnings, according to the consensus of surveyed analysts.

A short position of 10.80% of capital, slightly higher over one month

Nine funds cumulatively hold 10.80% of capital sold short, according to filed declarations, compared to 10.28% thirty days ago, an increase of 0.52 percentage points. The level is high, but the progression over one month remains moderate: it does not by itself depict a massive movement against the stock. On the industrial side, Valeo announced on October 13 the publication in open source of the code, trained models and data from a future autonomous driving system, developed with a non-profit research laboratory.

During first half 2026 results, published on July 22, the group had reaffirmed all of its objectives for the year. The support level at €13.41 remains the first level to monitor in case of another decline.
