Verimatrix has concluded an agreement with Kaltura aimed at integrating its content protection solutions into OTT services and cloud television. The announcement was made on September 3, 2026 and provides for a gradual migration of customers in the coming months.
A joint security offering for cloud television
Kaltura (Nasdaq: KLTR) and Verimatrix (Euronext Paris: VMX) have announced a strategic partnership designed to strengthen the protection of OTT services and Cloud TV.
The agreement combines Kaltura's Cloud TV platform with Verimatrix's digital rights management (DRM) and security solutions.
The joint solution, integrated into the Kaltura Marketplace, is aimed at telecom operators, broadcasters and media companies for the distribution of live and on-demand content across different devices and operating systems.
Multi-DRM protection and anti-piracy measures
According to the press release, customers benefit from multi-DRM protection of premium video content and secure distribution to connected televisions, set-top boxes, mobile devices and web applications.
The system is designed to strengthen defenses against piracy, credential sharing and unauthorized access, with a simplified integration and deployment approach.
It includes ongoing support from the technical and deployment teams of Kaltura and Verimatrix.
