Weaccess Group Targets Critical Defense Communications Post-Eurosatory
Weaccess Group, a French telecommunications operator, declared on Wednesday its ambition to become a key player in critical communications for defense and security. The group participated in Eurosatory to showcase their private 4G/5G network solutions and tactical bubbles suited for sensitive environments.
Private Networks for Critical Contexts
Weaccess Group offers rapidly deployable private 4G/5G networks in demanding environments. These solutions include instant voice communications, mobile video, data transmission, geolocation, supervision, and field coordination. They are aimed at organizations dealing with missions, crises, protection of sensitive sites, or operational command, where reliability and security of exchanges are crucial.
The group also highlighted its 4G/5G tactical bubbles, designed to quickly provide private, secure, and efficient connectivity over an operational area, a sensitive site, or a temporary perimeter. These infrastructures allow operational teams to have an integrated environment combining voice, video, data, and supervision.
Sovereignty and Controlled Architecture
Discussions during the fair confirmed the growing importance of sovereign and controlled architectures. Weaccess Group's solutions can be deployed in an On Premise mode, allowing organizations to maintain local control over communications, users, terminals, and data. This approach meets the autonomy and control demands expressed by defense and security stakeholders.
Established Legitimacy through CoHoMa
Weaccess Group won CoHoMa 3, a challenge organized by the Battle Lab Terre with support from the Defense Innovation Agency, by presenting a dedicated private 4G tactical bubble solution for communications among drones, rovers, and human operators. The group continues this momentum by participating in CoHoMa 4. This recognition in a real operational context solidifies its legitimacy within defense and security ecosystems.
