Worldline stock hits 12-month low, down 23% in one month
The payment services specialist posted another significant decline on Thursday, in an SBF 120 index itself oriented downward. The stock remains depressed below its three moving averages, extending a correction that has notably accelerated since mid-September.
A decline of 4.6% that prolongs a slide of nearly 23% over one month
Worldline loses 4.62% during the session, to €10.56, ranking among the steepest declines of the SBF 120 in an index itself down 1.25%. This decline continues a heavy dynamic: the stock is now down nearly 23% over one month and 12% over the week, erasing most of the summer rebound that had peaked at over 34% at the end of August. The correction brings the price to levels significantly below the support identified at €10.92, which the security had already broken through on September 29. Over one year, the stock shows a decline of 62.84%, in a context where investors are struggling to regain confidence in the group despite compressed valuation: according to the consensus of analysts surveyed, the stock is trading at approximately 3.1 times expected earnings for the next fiscal year.
A degraded technical configuration, with RSI at 35 and a 18% gap below the MA20
The technical reading confirms selling pressure. The price stands at €10.56, representing a gap of 18.20% below the MA20 at €12.91 and 17.56% below the MA200 at €12.81. This positioning simultaneously below the three reference moving averages reflects a clearly bearish underlying dynamic, with no sign of stabilization at this stage of the session. The RSI at 35 approaches the oversold zone, without having yet entered it, indicating a gradual exhaustion of selling pressure but not yet a reversal signal.
Upon the publication of first-half 2026 results on July 30, Worldline announced an EBITDA guidance of €640 million for the current fiscal year. The resistance identified at €14.55 remains for now very distant from the current price, more than 37% above, highlighting the magnitude of the road ahead for the stock to return to a more neutral configuration. The analyst consensus on the security remains a point to monitor in this configuration.
