Citi has signed a long-term lease for office space within The Rock, an iconic building under construction in the Cloche d'Or district in Luxembourg. This move confirms the district's appeal to major international financial institutions.
Citi to Occupy Upper Floors of The Rock
Citi, which has been present in Luxembourg since 1970, will occupy the upper floors of The Rock, located on Kockelscheuer Boulevard. The building offers a total of 9,492 sqm of premium office space distributed over ten floors, with an additional two underground levels. The building is scheduled for completion in mid-2027. This location provides Citi with exceptional visibility and views over the burgeoning urban district.
The Rock: A Key Part of the Cloche d'Or Project
The Rock, developed by Nextensa and Promobe through their joint venture Grossfeld, is part of the broader Cloche d'Or project. The district blends residential, professional, commercial, and leisure functions, with more than 120,000 sqm of office space already constructed. Citi's arrival underscores the strategic importance of the district for the future of Luxembourg's financial sector.
