Airbus, ArianeGroup, and MBDA to March on July 14th on the Champs-Élysées
A detachment of about a hundred reservists from Airbus, ArianeGroup, and MBDA will participate in the July 14th military parade on the Champs-Élysées. This marks the first participation of a private company in the parade, highlighting the connection between the aerospace group and national defense.
Unprecedented Mobilization by GREADS
The Group of Reservists from the Aerospace, Defense, and Space Entities (GREADS), established 25 years ago, unites several hundred employees from Airbus and its joint ventures MBDA and ArianeGroup. These men and women, who are executives, technicians, and workers, serve in the Army, the Air and Space Force, the National Navy, or the National Gendarmerie. The July 14th detachment marks the first time a private company has participated in the Parisian military parade.
Equipping the French and European Armed Forces
Airbus, along with ArianeGroup and MBDA, ranks among the top suppliers for the French and European forces. The group equips the armed forces with transport and mission aircraft such as the A400M, all helicopters used by the armed and security forces (gendarmerie, customs, civil security). MBDA provides all missile systems for the French forces. ArianeGroup produces the M51 ballistic missiles for the Strategic Oceanic Force, while Airbus provides the MRTT refueling aircraft for the Strategic Air Forces. The group also supplies satellites, military drones, as well as digital and cybersecurity systems.
