BIC Cuts Chairman's Compensation by 25% for 2026
BIC's Board of Directors has adopted a new compensation policy for corporate officers for the fiscal year 2026, revising downwards the compensation elements for its executive leaders. This decision follows recommendations from the Compensation Committee and the Nominations, Governance, and CSR Committee.
Chairman's Fixed Compensation Set for 2026
For the year 2026, the fixed compensation of the Chairman of the Board of Directors is set at 300,000 euros, representing a 25% reduction compared to the policy voted in 2025. The Chairman of the Board will not receive variable compensation. This direction is part of a comprehensive revision of the compensation structure for executives.
CEO's Compensation for 2026
The fixed compensation for the CEO in 2026 is established at 1,060,000 euros. The target amount for variable compensation has been revised downwards compared to that of his predecessor, calculated on a target variable base of 100% of the fixed compensation. The weighting of performance criteria for calculating variable compensation is set at 65% financial, 5% extra-financial, and 30% individual. The details of the performance criteria are described in the Universal Registration Document 2025, published on March 26, 2026. The payment of variable compensation for 2025 and the approval of the compensation policy for 2026 are conditional on a favorable vote at the General Meeting scheduled for May 20, 2026.
