Dassault Aviation Unveils the Falcon 10X, Its Long-Range Business Jet
Dassault Aviation has introduced the Falcon 10X, its most ambitious business aircraft, during a presentation in Bordeaux-Mérignac. This aircraft redefines the standards of comfort and performance in long-range business aviation.
The Falcon 10X features the largest cabin ever conceived for a business jet. With a width of 2.77 meters and a height of 2.03 meters, it exceeds the closest competitor by 20 centimeters in width and 5 centimeters in height. CEO Éric Trappier's goal is to 'allow passengers to live on board the aircraft as they do in their daily lives.' The cabin boasts 38 extra-large windows, nearly 50% larger than those of the Falcon 8X, and can be configured into three or four zones including dining areas, private suites, full-size bedrooms, or shower facilities. At a cruising altitude of 12,500 meters, the cabin pressure is maintained at about 900 meters, with continuously refreshed air and zone-adjustable temperatures.

The Falcon 10X benefits from innovations in aerodynamics, materials, avionics, and flight controls, derived from Dassault Aviation's expertise in fighter jets. The aircraft will fly at a peak speed of Mach 0.925 and has a range of 7,500 nm (13,890 km). The first business jet with an entirely composite wing combines high-lift devices and next-generation composite architecture. The NeXus cockpit is the most advanced ever installed in a business jet, featuring touchscreen displays, advanced automation tools, and a dual-standard FalconEye Enhanced Vision System. The Pearl 10X engines, developed with Rolls-Royce around the Advance2 core, generate a thrust exceeding 8,000 dN (18,000 lb), providing access to premium airports and ultra-long-range capabilities. The Falcon 10X program is now moving towards flight testing and its extensive evaluation campaign.
