Eiffage Construction Acquires 80% of Luxembourg-based Baatz Group
Eiffage Construction has signed an agreement to acquire 80% of the Baatz Group, a Luxembourg-based company specializing in civil engineering, earthworks, and demolition works. This deal brings the new group to around 750 employees and an annual turnover of 200 million euros.
Eiffage Construction has acquired 80% of the shares in the Baatz Group, a family-owned Luxembourgish company established in 1938. The group reported a consolidated turnover of 142 million euros in 2025 and has 470 employees. The acquired business units operate in several areas: civil engineering, earthworks, deep foundations, demolition, decontamination, recycling of materials, and production of ready-mixed concrete. These activities will complement Eiffage Construction's existing services in Luxembourg through its subsidiary Perrard. This acquisition is part of a strategy for territorial consolidation. On this occasion, Eiffage Construction will be able to offer services covering civil engineering, building, and real estate in Luxembourg, while strengthening its commitment to the circular economy.
