Fnac Darty will handle maintenance of 170,000 computers for Île-de-France high school students
Fnac Darty is taking charge of maintenance and repair of a fleet of 170,000 computers distributed annually to high school students and teachers in Île-de-France. The group will rely on 24 Fnac stores and its workshop in Noisy-le-Grand to operate this program.
A contract covering the Île-de-France educational fleet
Fnac Darty has been selected by the Île-de-France Region to ensure maintenance and repair of computers made available to high school students and teachers in Île-de-France.
The program concerns more than 535,000 high school students enrolled in nearly 470 public high schools, with approximately 170,000 computers distributed annually to sophomore students and teachers. Since 2019, nearly one million digital devices have been deployed across the regional territory.
This contract is part of a partnership with Asus, selected to supply new devices for the 2026-2027 school year.
Store drop-off and repair in Noisy-le-Grand within ten days
The program is based on a network of 24 Fnac stores distributed across the Île-de-France territory, allowing the vast majority of schools to access a service point in less than 25 minutes travel time. For more remote areas, alternative solutions will be offered.
Equipment can be dropped off and collected at these stores, while repairs will be carried out at the group's specialized workshop located in Noisy-le-Grand (93). The stated objective is to have devices back in service within a maximum of ten days after file validation.

The Noisy-le-Grand workshop, specializing in the repair of computers, smartphones and tablets, performs more than 65,000 repairs per year and mobilizes nearly 90 experts.
More broadly, Fnac Darty states it is France's leading repair service with 2.6 million products repaired in 2025. The group recorded revenue of more than 10.3 billion euros in 2025.
Katell Bergot, Director of Professional Markets at Fnac Darty, stated that "winning this contract is recognition of our ability to operate complex programs at large scale".
