JCDecaux Wins Advertising Concession at Brussels Airport
According to a company statement, JCDecaux SE has secured the exclusive advertising concession at Brussels Airport starting January 1, 2026.
Third Quarter Financial Performance
JCDecaux's revenue for the third quarter of 2025 amounted to 926.1 million euros, marking a decrease of 2.3% compared to the same period in 2024. This decline includes a 0.9% drop in organic growth. The company indicates that the underlying performance shows an organic increase of about 3%, excluding the comparative effect of the Olympic Games and UEFA Euro 2024. The DOOH (Digital Out of Home) segment grew by 6.1% in reported figures and 7.6% organically, now accounting for 41.8% of total revenue.
Stock Repurchase Initiative
In August, JCDecaux announced the acquisition of 1.7 million of its own shares at a price of 14.75 euros per share, a transaction conducted jointly with Amar Family Office. This repurchase represents 0.8% of the company's capital, with JCDecaux and Amar Family Office each acquiring 873,491 shares. This move is part of an authorization to buy back 10% of the capital approved in May, aimed at supporting a performance share distribution program and financing potential future acquisitions.
Fourth Quarter Revenue Forecast
JCDecaux anticipates stable organic revenue for the fourth quarter of 2025, despite a challenging macroeconomic environment and a high comparable due to past events. The group expects an approximate 1% increase in advertising revenue. The lack of expected improvement in the Chinese market and past sales of automatic toilets in Paris also affect the outlook.
