Stellantis stock hits new five-year low at €3.93
The multi-brand automaker (Peugeot, Fiat, Jeep) sinks further on Friday, recording an unprecedented floor in five years while the CAC 40 advances modestly. The stock accumulates substantial losses across all time horizons, in a context where fundamentals struggle to reassure.
A new five-year absolute low as the stock loses more than 50% in one year
Stellantis touched €3.93 during trading on Friday, thus beating its previous five-year record low at €3.95. The current price at €3.96 remains slightly below this threshold, reflecting persistent selling pressure. Over one year, the decline reaches 51.68%, an underperformance that ranks the stock among the heaviest in the CAC 40, while the Paris index gains 0.35% during the session.
The slump accelerated further over the month (-10.65%) and over the quarter (-23.61%), without the market rebound this morning being sufficient to curb the slide. To put the scale of the movement in perspective, the Italian-American manufacturer had already broken its support at €4.20 at the beginning of the week, then broken its five-year low on Thursday, which made this new record all the more likely. Renault, the only comparable value available, advances 0.80% during the session, highlighting the specific nature of Stellantis' weakness.
Floor valuation and strained fundamentals in an uncertain market
Below its three moving averages with significant spreads (the 20-day MA at €4.49, nearly 12% above the current price, and the 200-day MA at €6.36, nearly 38% above), Stellantis displays a degraded technical configuration across all time horizons. The RSI at 31 approaches the oversold zone without yet triggering a reversal signal, which reflects the gradual exhaustion of downward momentum without marking its end. On the fundamental side, according to the consensus of reviewed analysts, the stock trades at approximately 3.8 times the expected earnings for the following fiscal year, a very low valuation level that testifies to structural distrust rather than an identified opportunity.
During the publication of H1 2026 (July 30, 2026), the Pro One commercial vehicles division had posted 7% growth and electric van orders from small and medium fleets had surged 140% year-over-year, but these elements were not sufficient to reverse the trend. The next resistance level to watch remains at €4.80, representing a spread of more than 20% relative to the current price.
