Valeo Tops French Patent Filings with 650 Submissions in 2025
Valeo remains at the forefront of French companies in terms of patent filings with the European Patent Office (EPO) in 2025. The automotive equipment group recorded 650 patent applications last year, according to the rankings published on March 24 by the EPO.
Valeo is channeling its innovation efforts into four major technological areas: electrification and thermal management, vehicles with centralized software architecture, advanced driver-assistance systems, and intelligent lighting. This strategy aligns with the group's mission to make mobility more electrified, safer, and more software-driven. The group has gained further recognition by being included in the LexisNexis Top 100 Global Innovators 2026 ranking.
