Vinci shares fall back below their 112.95 € resistance level, down 1%
The concessions, energy and construction group declined at the close, in a CAC 40 also trading lower. The drop follows by a few days the publication of its nine-month accounts, which had confirmed its annual outlook.
A decline that interrupts the approach to the 112.95 € resistance level
Vinci shares lose 1.15% to 111.65 € after 112.95 € at the previous close, a level that coincides with the resistance watched by traders. The stock remains above its MM20 (108.23 €, a gap of 3.16%) as well as its MM50 (108.96 €), following a 6.36% rebound over one month.
The MM200 at 121.58 € remains, however, more than 8% above the share price, leaving the stock lagging in the medium term after a 10.25% decline over three months.
The intraday gap relative to the index is modest, as the CAC 40 falls 0.92% and Vinci ranks 27th out of 40: the stock stands out neither on the upside nor on the downside. The two sector peers in construction are mixed, with Eiffage down 0.24% while Bouygues falls 2.09%.
The 1.10 € dividend detached on October 13 is already included in the performance figures cited, excluding the detachment.
Nine-month accounts confirm 2026 outlook despite lower motorway traffic
When publishing its nine-month accounts on October 22, 2026, Vinci reported further increases in its revenue and order intake, and confirmed its outlook for the year. The order book reached 75.4 billion euros, representing approximately 14 months of average activity, and net cash stood at 14.7 billion euros.
The group also flagged points of vigilance: a 3.3% decline in traffic on its motorways, a 14% drop in Vinci Immobilier's revenue, and a possible increase in the tax on infrastructure operations, whose impact is estimated at 450 million euros in 2026.
On the capital side, a 270 million euro share buyback programme announced on October 1 was about 57% complete as of October 30, with 154 million euros of shares repurchased.
