Exosens shares fall below €52.15 and hit a 150-session low
The Bordeaux-based optronics company extends a decline that has been underway for several weeks, in a Paris market closing the week in negative territory. The moving averages have moved away from the share price, and a validation of climate targets was not enough to halt the movement.
A €52.15 support abandoned, now a resistance
Exosens shares lose 1.92% to €51.15 and fall below a level that had served as a floor for several months: the lowest of the last 150 sessions, at €52.15. This threshold, now broken to the downside, becomes a resistance.
The RSI at 32 is close to the oversold zone, illustrating the intensity of the decline: the stock has dropped 11.96% over the week and 16.28% over one month.
The share price is also below its three moving averages: the MA20 stands at €56.80, a gap of -9.95%, and the MA200 at €60.25, a gap of -15.10%. The group is therefore trading well below its short-, medium- and long-term benchmarks, while the CAC 40 retreats 0.88% over the session.
2030 climate targets validated by SBTi, with no effect on the share price
In a press release dated November 5, Exosens announced that its near-term targets, set for 2030, had been validated by SBTi Services, the subsidiary of the Science Based Targets initiative in charge of this process. This validation extends the climate commitment made by the group with the organization and aims for a 42% reduction in emissions.
The stock nevertheless remains on a downward trend, following a third-quarter report published on October 27 showing a 23.5% increase in revenue, to €133.8 million.
Over one year, the share retains a gain of 10.83%, but has lost 19.07% over three months. The week's decline is thus the most pronounced in several months, and the €52.15 level is now the one the share price will need to recover.
