Advicenne receives €1M from L1 Capital and extends its financing horizon to 2028
In a press release published on October 12, 2026, Advicenne announced that it received the final tranche, amounting to a net €1M, from the bond financing signed in June 2026 with a fund managed by L1 Capital. According to its Chief Executive Officer, Didier Laurens, this financing is part of the company's rescue plan.
A deadline postponed from the second quarter of 2027 to 2028
Advicenne had previously set its financing horizon at the second quarter of 2027. Following this payment, the company indicates it has secured its financial visibility through 2028. Its cash position stood at €1.55M as of June 30, 2026.
The group also attributes this extension to sales of Likozam and Levidcen in France, as well as sales of Sibnayal across all markets where this treatment is accessible to patients. It also cites disciplined management of its resources. Sibnayal, its main product, is approved for distal renal tubular acidosis and is marketed in more than twenty-five countries in Europe.
According to Didier Laurens, this financing makes it possible to cover cash requirements in a context of uncertainty in financial markets, while operational performance extends financial visibility by at least six months. On September 17, 2026, the company had published a positive half-yearly net result of €4.6M, compared to a loss of €4.96M a year earlier. This turnaround was essentially due to non-recurring items related to the conclusion of pricing agreements.
An additional financing option of €1.2M
Advicenne also has the option to draw on additional financing of €1.2M. This is made available in particular by Cemag Invest, a long-standing shareholder, alongside Europe Offering and Didier Laurens, according to the terms announced on June 22, 2026.
The conversion price of the bonds is at least equal to the lower of two amounts: €0.79, or 93% of the lowest of the average daily closing prices weighted by volumes over ten consecutive trading sessions preceding each conversion request, a period during which the holder has not sold any shares in the company.
The number of shares liable to be issued cannot therefore be determined with precision at the date of issuance. The company indicates that the conversion of the bonds could result in significant dilution for existing shareholders.
