Airbus shares fall 1% but remain 4% ahead over one month
The European aircraft manufacturer loses ground in a Paris market trending lower, following a decline on Wall Street. The stock nonetheless retains a margin above its medium-term benchmarks and remains in an intermediate zone of its recent range.
A 1% decline leaves the stock above its three moving averages
Airbus shares fell 1% to €196.90, compared with €198.88 at the previous close, while the CAC 40 declined 0.92%.
The stock ranks in the second half of the index, far from Capgemini, the worst performer of the session. It remains ABOVE its 200-day moving average (a gap of 4.79%) and its 20- and 50-day moving averages, which preserves the medium-term outlook.
Over the month, the stock gained 4.14%, while its quarterly performance remains negative at -8.4%. The session took place against a backdrop of a sharp decline in technology stocks on Wall Street and then in Asia, amid regulatory concerns surrounding artificial intelligence.
October deliveries and price target cut by UBS: recent news for Airbus
The manufacturer published its monthly data: 74 aircraft delivered in October, bringing the total to 621 aircraft since January, with 202 gross orders over the month.
On the analyst ratings front, UBS lowered its price target from €240 to €230 on November 4 while maintaining its buy rating. This target implies a potential upside of about 17% relative to the share price of the day.
When it published its first nine-month results on October 28, 2026, the group reported a 115% increase in commercial aircraft orders and targeted an A220 production rate of around 13 aircraft per month by 2028.
