Alten shares break through their 89.45 € resistance and climb 14% in one month
The engineering consulting specialist is rising sharply on the Paris market amid a broad rebound, one week after publishing its third-quarter activity. The move follows a decline the previous day and fits into a strongly upward trajectory over several months.
A 250-session high broken and an RSI at 65
The Alten share gains 3.21% to 90.10 € intraday and exceeds its previous 250-session peak, at 89.45 €, which now acts as support. The breakout occurs as the CAC 40 rises 2.18%, so the stock's gain remains close to that of the index.
The RSI at 65 signals a configuration still far from overbought, while the price stands 35.9% above the MM200 and 14.5% above the MM50.
After losing nearly 4% the previous day, the stock thus erases most of its decline and shows a 14.4% gain over one month. The French 10-year OAT yields 4.88% according to the latest Banque de France data, in a context of tension over French debt, while the Paris session is trending higher.
Organic growth revised up to approximately 2% for 2026
On October 27, the group reported third-quarter revenue of €1,055.2 million, up 6.4% year on year and 3.6% on a constant-data basis, compared with 2.3% over the first nine months.
On this occasion, management revised its targets and now expects organic growth of approximately 2% for fiscal year 2026.
The stock had fallen about 3.5% after this publication, before moving forward again. On the capital side, the group bought back €57 million of shares over twelve months, or 1.8% of its market capitalization, according to the latest declaration read on September 23.
The next round level to watch in the data is at €95, above a price that now evolves without any prior technical resistance.
