Alten share retreats 3.5% after third quarter results but maintains +37% over three months
The engineering consulting specialist declines sharply in late afternoon trading following its quarterly figures. The stock ranks among the weakest performers in its index, despite recent momentum that has taken it well above its long-term benchmarks.
A decline of 3.34% following revenue growth of 6.4%
The Alten share loses 3.34% to €85.50, compared to the previous close of €88.45, and ranks among the strongest declines in the SBF 120 index, which remained nearly stable during the session. The move follows third quarter figures published on October 27: revenue of €1,055.2 million, up 6.4% year-on-year, or 3.6% at constant exchange rates.
The group now anticipates organic growth of approximately 2% for 2026, with an operating margin close to 9.3%. On the analyst side, CIC Market Solutions confirms its price target at €100, representing potential upside of around 17% from the current price.

The decline does not challenge the underlying momentum: the stock is trading 29.7% above its 200-day moving average at €65.91, and has gained nearly 37% over three months.
The price also remains above its 20-day moving average (+2.6%), which limits the technical impact of today's decline. Resistance at €89.45, which the stock had approached before this session, remains the key high level to watch in today's trading data.
