Alten stock breaks through its 76.90 € resistance and surges more than 20% in one week
This Monday morning, Alten benefits from a dual revision of price targets published today to secure one of the best performances in the broader index. The stock has broken through its resistance during the session and now displays a gain of more than 20% over the week, consolidating the rebound initiated following its half-yearly results.
Two price target revisions on Monday propel Alten among the strongest gainers in the SBF 120
This morning, Alten is advancing 4.07% to 79.35 € during the session, among the strongest gainers in the SBF 120. Two analyst opinions published today are fueling this movement. Oddo BHF maintains its outperform opinion and raises its price target from 106 € to 115 €, representing an upside potential of approximately 45% compared to the current price.
Alphavalue, for its part, confirms its "accumulate" opinion while adjusting its target very slightly, from 88.30 € to 87.80 €, now slightly below the current price. These analyst opinions follow in the wake of half-yearly results published Friday, September 25, which had already triggered a 4% gain and led CIC to raise its target, according to information already available. The week thus translates into a surge of more than 20%, representing the bulk of the quarterly rebound of 48.6% accumulated since the summer lows.
The 76.90 € resistance breached, the stock is trading above its moving averages in a bullish configuration
On the price level front, the session marks a notable breakthrough: the stock has exceeded its resistance at 76.90 € and is holding at 79.35 €, in the immediate vicinity of the upper resistance threshold at 79.80 €. This breakthrough extends a configuration already underway since the first half 2026 results, which had marked a return to organic growth and an improvement in free cash flow. The stock is now clearly above the 20-day moving average at 71.57 € (gap of +10.87%) and the 50-day moving average at 71.26 € (gap of +11.35%), two averages that had acted as support levels for several weeks.
The RSI at 62 remains in impulse zone without signaling overbought conditions. The next identified resistance is found at 79.80 €, a level that the stock has not yet definitively consolidated at this stage of the session.
