Among the strongest declines in the SBF 120: S.E.B. (Tefal) share drops more than 2%
The small appliance manufacturer is falling sharply during the session, while the Paris market remains stable. The decline occurs in a context of tension over French public debt and follows several difficult sessions since the arrival of the new chief executive officer.
A decline of 2.18% that places S.E.B. at the bottom of the SBF 120
The S.E.B. share falls 2.18% to €53.95, compared with €55.15 at the last close. The SBF 120 advances 0.11% at the same time, placing the stock among the strongest declines in the index, behind Medincell and TF1. Over one month, the decline reaches 4.93%, but the share maintains a gain of 15.67% over three months.
The Écully-based group, which includes notably Tefal, Moulinex and Rowenta, saw its support at €55.40 break in early October, at the time of Loïc Moutault's appointment as chief executive officer. The market context remains marked by tension over public finances: the Finance Committee of the National Assembly rejected the revenue portion of the 2027 Budget Law on October 9, and the 10-year OAT was at 4.79% according to the latest reading of October 9, at 1.32 points from the Bund.
