Ayvens shares drop more than 5% and break through their 10.33 € support level
In a rising SBF 120 index, Ayvens stands out as a glaring exception in red this Monday. The long-term car leasing company unveiled an ambitious roadmap for 2029 this morning, yet markets are penalizing the stock despite the announcement of upgraded targets. The share price pierces through its support level and settles at the bottom of the index rankings.
Capital Markets Day raises 2029 targets, but market corrects sharply
This morning, Ayvens presented its new strategic roadmap, raising its tangible equity return target to 14%-16% for 2029, compared to a range of 13%-15% in the previous PowerUP 2026 plan. The group is thus demonstrating ambition regarding its medium-term profitability. Despite these upgraded targets, the share price fell 5.25% during the session, to 9.92 €, while the SBF 120 gained 0.78% over the same period. This divergence places the stock among the largest declines in the SBF 120.
Over one month, the stock is already down 11.43%, and selling pressure is intensifying. Regarding the share buyback program, approximately 130 M€ have been repurchased by mid-September, representing roughly 29% of a total 450 M€ program announced in late July. This support mechanism was insufficient to stem the wave of selling during the session. Second-half 2026 results are expected on September 25, bringing forward the next factual milestone for shareholders.
The 10.33 € support level breached, the three moving averages remain far above the current price
The technical reading of the session is clear: Ayvens has broken through its 10.33 € support level and has not recovered it, with the last quoted price at 9.92 € marking a clear breach of this floor that has been monitored for several weeks (already tested during the September 14 session). The price now trades well below its three moving averages: the 20-day MA at 10.96 €, the 50-day MA at 11.37 €, and the 200-day MA at 11.21 €, with respective gaps of nearly 10%, 13%, and 11.5%. This configuration highlights the extent of downward pressure accumulated over recent weeks.
The RSI at 37 is approaching the oversold zone without reaching it yet, indicating buyer exhaustion without an established reversal signal at this stage. Based on consensus earnings per share expectations from surveyed analysts, the stock is trading at approximately 7.9 times the current year's earnings — a contained valuation, but the publication of half-year results on September 25 will give the market an opportunity to reassess the group's concrete prospects.
