Biophytis shares soar 28% and test their €0.054 resistance
The Parisian biotech's share price rebounds sharply during the session and erases part of its recent decline. This movement comes a few days after the publication of its half-year accounts and one week before its general meeting.
A rebound that brings the share price back above its three moving averages
The share price of Biophytis gains 27.89% to €0.0509, compared with €0.0398 the previous day, and is up 46.61% over the week. The price moves back above its MA20 (27.25% gap) as well as its MA200 (27.25% gap), and exceeds its MA50 by 1.80%.
The rebound also brings the stock close to its resistance at €0.054, while the RSI at 61 remains neutral, far from an overbought zone.
The two-session decline, which had pushed the price below its €0.03 support on November 3, is therefore largely erased. Over one year, however, the stock still falls 52.67%. The session takes place in a rising Parisian market, with the CAC 40 gaining 0.55% and the SBF 120 gaining 0.58%.
Half-year accounts and financing frame the company's outlook
In its half-year accounts published on October 30, the company reported a 38% reduction in its loss for the first half of 2026. Its cash stood at €268k as of June 30, but at €8.9 million as of September 11, following the €5.3 million capital increase intended to fund its phase 2 obesity trial.
In this document, Biophytis describes the search for financing as “imperative” and makes its outlook conditional on the effective mobilization of the planned financing and on clinical results. Shareholders have been convened to the general meeting on November 12.
