BOA Concept partners with KUKA to integrate mobile robots into its automated warehouses
The Saint-Étienne-based intralogistics automation specialist announced on October 15, 2026, the integration of KUKA's autonomous mobile robots (AMR) into its offering. These equipment will be controlled by its own software suite, alongside its modular handling systems.
A new automation component in BOA's catalog
BOA Concept Group, listed on Euronext Growth Paris, has signed a partnership with KUKA, a robotics group headquartered in Augsburg, Germany. The agreement enables BOA Concept to add a mobile robotics offering to its modular handling solutions designed for warehouses. According to the press release, the stated objective is to automate more varied flows with more flexible solutions.
The targeted clients are e-commerce and retail professionals, as well as logistics service providers. Patrice Henrion, Chief Executive Officer of BOA Concept Group, clarified the approach: "With KUKA, our objective is not simply to add a mobile robot to our catalog, but to integrate a new automation component within an overall flow logic."
AMRs orchestrated by BOA Central Suite
The integration relies on the open architecture of the BOA system. The BOA Central Suite executive software suite coordinates the various equipment in a single architecture, whether it concerns collected data, real-time flow control, or facility visualization.
By way of examples, the press release cites several uses: serving remote areas, supplying work stations, or setting up temporary workshops. BOA Concept Group indicates its intention to maintain the same level of service and support, from design to operation, including remote support.
For KUKA, a foothold in the intralogistics market
The partnership should also enable KUKA to leverage the operational knowledge of warehouses acquired by BOA Concept, in order to better identify mobile robotics use cases. Marcus Ferreira de Sousa, Chief Executive Officer of KUKA for the Benelux and France, sees in this KUKA's "commitment to strengthening its presence in the intralogistics market".
The two partners are not the same size. KUKA generates revenue of approximately 3.9 billion euros, employs nearly 14,500 people, and is present in more than 50 countries. BOA Concept Group has 140 employees and generates 60% of its revenue internationally, with operations in France, Belgium, and Canada.
