Bolloré shares break through support at €3.63 and slide toward oversold territory
Two days after publishing its interim results, Bolloré comes under renewed selling pressure on Thursday, with a decline that places the stock among the worst performers in the SBF 120. The session is also marked by target price revisions published this morning by two research firms.
Support at €3.63 broken during the session, the stock below its three moving averages
Bolloré shares decline 1.73% to €3.63 in trading and briefly slipped to €3.62, thus breaching the support threshold at €3.63. This downside breakout is notable in an otherwise stable market: the SBF 120 advances 0.2% and the CAC 40 rises 0.21% at the same time. The stock is trading below its three moving averages: the 20-day MA at €3.79 (difference of 4.22%), the 50-day MA at €3.87 (difference of 6.20%) and the 200-day MA at €3.68 (difference of 1.36%).
This configuration, with the price below all moving average benchmarks, reflects persistent selling pressure that is part of a 6.15% decline over one month. The RSI at 38 is approaching levels characteristic of an oversold configuration, without fully entering it yet. The next technical resistance is located at €3.91, representing a difference of 7.7% from the current price.
Two downward target price revisions published today, in the wake of interim results
On Thursday, two research firms revised their price targets on Bolloré, following the publication of first half 2026 results, which showed revenue up 6% but net income down to €133 million. CIC Market Solutions lowers its target from €5.00 to €4.40 while maintaining a buy recommendation, which still represents upside potential of approximately 21% relative to the current price. BNP Paribas Exane adopts a more cautious stance: the bank revises its target from €4.50 to €3.25, below the current price, while maintaining a neutral rating.
Both revisions come in a context where the interim publication highlighted two exceptional cash flows: an exceptional dividend of €4.2 billion paid by Bolloré SE in June 2026, and the announcement of an exceptional interim payment of €2.5 billion decided by Compagnie de l'Odet. BNP Paribas Exane's lowered target at €3.25, below the current price, anchors the session's downward pressure. The breach of support at €3.63 now stands as the immediate technical reference point for the remainder of the session.
