DBV Technologies stock among neglected SBF 120 values, down 26.5% in three months
The Châtillon biotech is losing ground this Thursday morning, in a generally declining Paris market. The stock is reverting to selling pressure after yesterday's rebound, while its monthly decline now exceeds 15%.
A decline of 3.21% that brings the stock close to its support level at €2.07
The DBV Technologies stock is down 3.21% to €2.11 in mid-morning trading, while the SBF 120 declines by 0.77% amid a context of rising bond yields. The stock is thus approaching its support level at €2.07, which it had already grazed in early September. Below its 20-day moving average at €2.26 and its 50-day moving average at €2.38, the technical configuration remains under pressure: the gap to the two short-term moving averages exceeds 6.5% and 11% respectively.
The RSI at 42 remains neutral, with no marked signal of selling exhaustion at this stage. Over the month, the correction reaches 15.45%, which largely erases the rebound recorded between September 17 and 23.
Short positions rising and FDA regulatory dossier still ongoing
Three funds cumulatively hold 3.70% of DBV Technologies capital sold short, according to reviewed filings, up 0.38 percentage points over thirty days. This level, above 3% of capital, testifies to persistent institutional caution around the stock. This structural downward pressure is part of an ongoing regulatory dossier: during the publication of first-half 2026 results (July 16, 2026), the company indicated it anticipated filing its biologics license application (BLA) with the FDA in the third quarter of 2026, with cash coverage of its needs through the third quarter of 2027.
The analysts' views on the stock remain to be monitored in this context, where the outcome of regulatory discussions will constitute the key variable for the stock's trajectory. At €2.11, the stock remains more than 32% below its 200-day moving average at €3.13, reflecting a deteriorated underlying trend across the entire year.
