Emeis shares rebound 3% but remain down 27% over the quarter
The operator of retirement homes and clinics recovers in mid-session, in a well-oriented Parisian market. This rebound comes a few days after the loss of a technical level monitored for several weeks, and one week after the publication of its third-quarter activity.
A rebound that brings the share price back above its 20-day moving average
The Emeis share rises 2.93% to €10.20 intraday, after closing the previous day at €9.91.
The stock thus moves back above its 20-day moving average (€10.01, a gap of +1.90%), which it had dropped below during the decline of recent weeks. It nonetheless remains well below the MA50 (€11.17, i.e. -8.68%) and the MA200 (€13.44, i.e. -24.11%).
The €9.75 support, lost during the session of 2 November, remains the nearest reference level below the current price, while resistance at €12.05 marks the upper end of the pullback zone.
The weekly gain reaches 3.5%, but the stock still shows a 26.93% decline over three months, so this rebound recovers only a small part of the quarterly drop. The CAC 40 gains 1.54% at the same time and the SBF 120 1.5%, an index rise in which Emeis is slightly ahead.
