Medincell shares climb 28.5% over one month, boosted by Uzedy sales
The Montpellier-based biopharmaceutical company continues its rebound in a Paris market that is notably better oriented. The stock now sits well above all of its moving averages, as sales of the treatment developed with Teva have just accelerated.
A rebound that moves the stock away from its moving averages
Medincell rises 2.37% to €28.50, while the CAC 40 gains 1.54% and the SBF 120 gains 1.5%. Over one month, the gain reaches 28.38%, placing the price almost 16% above its MM50, at €24.58. The gap with the MM200, at €24.82, is nearly 15%.
The RSI at 63 accompanies this progress without signalling excessive tension. The resistance level at €29.06 is less than 2% from the price. Over one year, however, the stock remains down 22.51%, so that the recent recovery only partially closes the gap with the levels of autumn 2025.
Uzedy: sales up 96% in the third quarter
Net sales of Uzedy reached $85 million in the third quarter, up 96% year on year, compared with +43% in the previous quarter. These figures are those of Teva, which markets the treatment in the United States, and not Medincell's revenue. They nonetheless determine the royalties received by the Montpellier-based company.
Teva raised its annual forecast to $290-310 million, compared with $270-290 million previously. The same economic model will apply to Weltruza, the second product resulting from Medincell's technology, whose US launch is underway.
In terms of valuation, according to the consensus of the analysts covered, the stock trades at about 55 times the earnings of the following fiscal year. The resistance at €29.06 is the nearest level to watch.
