Eurofins Scientific stock hits 4-year high at €77.88
Eurofins Scientific recorded an unprecedented peak on Monday since 2022, extending a particularly strong bullish momentum since the beginning of the month. The stock is among the strongest gainers in the CAC 40 within a Paris index itself well-oriented, with a gain of nearly 1% during the session.
A four-year record broken in a supportive market, up 24.5% over three months
The stock Eurofins Scientific touched €77.88 during the session, beating its four-year high record (previous peak: €77.86, reached in 2022, a year marked by the war in Ukraine and the sharp rise in interest rates). The current price, at €77.86, remains close to this intraday peak. Over three months, the stock shows a gain of 24.54%, in a context where momentum has accelerated significantly since mid-September.
Over one week, the gain already exceeds 10%, after crossing Friday a level unseen since 2022 and clearly outperforming a CAC 40 that was then declining. The stock is among the strongest gainers in the CAC 40 on Monday, within an index advancing nearly 1% during the session, with a VIX at 14.86 reflecting a serene market. The ongoing share buyback program (€483M repurchased over twelve months, or 3.5% of market capitalization) provides structural support to the price.
A tight technical configuration above the three moving averages, the €80 level in sight
The three moving averages confirm the magnitude of the advance: Eurofins Scientific is trading well above its 20-day MA (€72.83, a gap of nearly 7%), its 50-day MA (€70.74, a gap of over 10%) and its 200-day MA (€66.08, a gap of nearly 18%). This bullish structure was built progressively, after breaking through the €74 resistance in mid-September, then advancing towards €76.34 on Thursday, September 17. The RSI at 70 signals an overbought configuration: the stock is evolving in tight territory, which is consistent with the amplitude of the recent move.
The next prospective reference above the current price is the psychological level of €80, which has not yet been tested and does not constitute an identifiable historical technical resistance. In case of a pullback, the immediate support stands at €69.60, a former resistance level broken during the bullish acceleration. When publishing first-half 2026 results (July 23, 2026), management had deemed profitability "virtually at the 2027 target with over a year's advance," and anticipated a recovery in ancillary BioPharma activities in the second half, as well as the completion of the Element Materials Technology acquisition in North America in the fourth quarter 2026.
