Inventiva Shares Rise 10.5% in One Week and Aim for Top Positions in the SBF 120
The Burgundy-based biotech specializing in fibrotic and metabolic diseases extends its autumn rebound in a well-oriented Parisian market. The move places it in a strong position within the index, while its financial situation has been strengthened by the spring transactions.
A Share Price Back Above Its Short-Term Averages
Inventiva gains 2.68% to €3.64 during the session and shows a 10.3% increase over the week, after a 15.74% gain over one month.
The share price broke through its highest level of the last 30 sessions at €3.55, a level that has now become support, and sits above its MM50 (€3.27, a gap of +11.31%) as well as its MM20 (€3.10, a gap of +17.42%). However, it remains below the MM200 (€4.11, a gap of -11.44%).
The RSI at 63 accompanies this upward movement without placing the stock in overbought territory. The share ranks among the strongest gainers in the SBF 120, which rises 0.52%, and the session takes place in a supportive Parisian market, while the VIX falls 19.11% to 16.85.
Strengthened Cash Position, but Financing Needs Still Quantified by the Company
When publishing its H1 2026 results on July 29, 2026, Inventiva had recorded no revenue for the half-year, compared with €4.5 million a year earlier. Among the risks cited on that occasion was a cash runway limited to the end of the second quarter of 2027 without additional financing.
On the opportunity side, the company mentioned the €103 million Equity offering and the €75 million financing transaction announced on June 2, 2026, as well as the exercise of Tranche 3 warrants, which could bring in up to €116.0 million.
The share is listed both in Paris and on the Nasdaq via ADSs, which represent the same underlying share. From a technical standpoint, the next resistance lies at €5.02, while the €3.55 support is the level the share price has just broken through.
