Genfit among the biggest decliners in the SBF 120, but up 21% over the week
The Lille-based biotech specializing in liver and metabolic diseases dips mid-session, in a Paris market that is rising. It nonetheless holds most of the rebound begun at the end of October, after a very difficult quarter.
An intraday pullback that does not erase the sharp weekly rebound
The stock falls 3.13% to €10.52, while the CAC 40 gains 0.46% and the SBF 120 gains 0.4%. It thus ranks among the biggest decliners in the latter index. This decline follows a 21.34% rise over the week, so it only trims part of the recent gain.
Over three months, the loss remains heavy at 28.24%, and the weekly gain offsets it only in part.
The price falls back below the MM50, at €10.86, a gap of 3.13%, while remaining well above the MM20 (gap of 14.72%) and the MM200 (gap of 5.73%). It trades below the resistance at €11.46, which the weekly rebound did not break through.
The AASLD congress, the company's latest published news
On Monday, November 2, Genfit detailed its program of activities organized on the sidelines of the AASLD The Liver Meeting 2026 congress.
The company presents two areas of focus: its therapeutic approach in acute-on-chronic liver failure (ACLF) and its diagnostic activity for metabolic dysfunction-associated steatohepatitis (MASH). This program dedicated to ACLF and MASH diagnosis extends the positioning of the Genfit stock in liver diseases.
The next financial deadline is the publication of third-quarter 2026 revenue, scheduled for November 5.
