GTT Secures Tank Design Contract for 18,700 m³ LNG Carrier
GTT Energy, the operational unit of the group dedicated to containment systems and energy management, has been selected by Hudong-Zhonghua Shipbuilding for the design of tanks for an LNG carrier intended for an Asian shipowner.
The order concerns a vessel with a total capacity of 18,700 m³, with delivery expected during the fourth quarter of 2028.
GTT Energy announced that it received in the third quarter of 2026 an order from Hudong-Zhonghua Shipbuilding for the design of tanks for a new LNG carrier.
This order is placed on behalf of an Asian shipowner. GTT will ensure the design of the cryogenic tanks of the vessel, whose total capacity will amount to 18,700 m³.
