Legrand shares, bottom of the CAC 40, fall 3.5% ahead of its earnings
The electrical equipment maker for buildings closes at the bottom of the CAC 40, while the index rises clearly during the session. The decline comes on the eve of the publication of its nine-month results.

Legrand falls 3.62% to €128.95, the largest decline in the CAC 40, while the index gains 2.09% and Kering, BNP Paribas and Renault lead the advance. The stock now sits below its three moving averages: the MA20 at €132.17 is 2.44% above the price, and the MA200 at €141.22 is 8.69% above.
The support at €123.65 remains about 4.1% below the price. This decline extends a difficult month, with -10.79% over the period, while the seven-day performance is almost flat (-0.08%). On November 3, the stock was nonetheless among the biggest gainers in the CAC 40, which makes the session of the day all the more pronounced.
