Lleida.net: Its Certified Email Accepted as Evidence in 42 Court Rulings in Spain
In a press release published on October 13, 2026, Lleida.net stated that its certified electronic mail had been accepted as evidence in 42 final court orders issued between October 2025 and September 2026. These decisions concern proof of prior negotiation attempts (MASC), which is generally required in Spain before filing a civil and commercial action, subject to exceptions provided by law.
Evidence Admitted to Satisfy the Prior Negotiation Obligation
The reference framework is Organic Law 1/2025, in force since April 3, 2025. It requires demonstrating a prior negotiation attempt before initiating legal proceedings in civil and commercial matters. Without this proof, the court may declare the claim inadmissible without examining the merits of the case.
According to the company, Spain handles approximately 3.5 million judicial proceedings annually subject to this obligation. Lleida.net believes that the court orders issued by these 16 Provincial Courts show that its certified email technology "is beginning to be widely adopted" to provide this proof.
One Certificate per Shipment and Record of 12,545 Active Clients at End of June
Each shipment generates a certificate attesting to the identity of the sender and recipient, the date and time of sending and receipt, as well as the content and attachments. The company closed the month of June with 12,545 active clients, the highest level in its history, and recorded 791 new clients that month, its monthly maximum.
CEO Sisco Sapena placed this legal framework at the center of the group's strategy: "MASC has made certified communication a mandatory step before any civil trial, and it will be the cornerstone of the company's growth."
