Mercialys appoints Jérôme Engelbrecht as Chief Financial Officer from September 1, 2026
The Parisian real estate company is integrating a chief financial officer from the listed real estate sector into its Executive Committee, with the appointment effective September 1, 2026.
A financial career built in listed real estate
Mercialys announced on September 24, 2026 the appointment of Jérôme Engelbrecht as Group CFO and member of the Executive Committee, effective September 1, 2026, three weeks before the official announcement. He will oversee all Finance functions as well as Investor Relations and reports directly to Vincent Ravat, Chief Executive Officer of Mercialys.
Jérôme Engelbrecht has nearly twenty years of experience in corporate finance and the real estate sector. Since April 2025, he has held the position of Chief Financial Officer of Proudreed, having previously been Deputy Chief Financial Officer of Icade.
He spent most of his career at Gecina, which he joined in 2011, where he served for more than ten years as Head of Financing, Treasury, Business Planning and Corporate Finance. A graduate of ESCP Business School, he began his career in 2007 at KPMG, within the Transaction Services division.
An appointment in line with the growth strategy
According to the company, this appointment is in line with Mercialys' commitment to continue executing its growth strategy, strengthening its financial discipline and supporting the Group's performance.

As of June 30, 2026, Mercialys owned a real estate portfolio valued at 3.1 billion euros including ownership rights. The company has been listed since October 12, 2005 under the ticker MERY and benefits from the status of a listed real estate investment company.
