Nextensa: a financial institution leases 4,260 m² in East Corner at Cloche d'Or
Grossfeld, the joint venture formed by Promobe and Nextensa, announced on 2 November 2026 the arrival of a new financial institution in the East Corner office building, at Cloche d'Or (Luxembourg). The occupant will have 4,260 m² in a building that has not yet been delivered.
A new occupant alongside State Street, Lombard Odier and Citi
The lease concerns the East Corner building, located at the entrance to the Cloche d'Or district in Luxembourg. The project is being developed by Grossfeld, a joint structure of Promobe and Nextensa, which the press release describes as the main player in the development of this mixed-use district for more than 20 years.
The tenant joins financial institutions already established in the area, including State Street, Lombard Odier and the bank Citi. According to Grossfeld, this arrival strengthens Luxembourg's Central Business District (CBD), with Cloche d'Or presented by the developers as the country's new financial hub.
A rent of €46.5/m² per month on a firm 9-year lease
The new occupant will have 4 floors of the building, at a rent set at €46.5/m²/month. The lease term is 9 years firm.
The commitment concerns a building scheduled for delivery at the end of March 2028. The leased area should be compared with the approximately 7,750 m² of floor area above ground that the building will provide.
A building designed by 3XN, targeting BREEAM and WELL certifications
Designed by the architecture firm 3XN, East Corner will also include 1,900 m² of underground space and will offer flexible office spaces. The BREEAM Outstanding, WELL Core Gold and LBCI certifications are planned for the project.
The Cloche d'Or district, for its part, holds the DGNB Platinum certification. Nextensa, an investor and property developer also present in Brussels with the Tour & Taxis site, is a member of the holding company Ackermans & van Haaren.
