Orange Shares Continue to Rise After Completion of MasOrange Buyout
The telecom operator cautiously moves into the green this Tuesday, extending the momentum started the previous day with the agreement on SFR and the buyout of the remaining shares of MasOrange. Two brokerage houses have raised their price targets, fueling a calmer session than those at the start of the week. The stock remains below its 20-day moving average and in contact with its 50-day moving average.
JP Morgan and Intesa Sanpaolo Raise Their Targets on the Spanish Case
JP Morgan raised its price target on Orange from €21.00 to €21.80 on Monday, maintaining its overweight recommendation. Intesa Sanpaolo aligns with a target of €19.20 accompanied by a buy recommendation.
These revisions occurred on the day of the finalization of the buyout of the remaining 50% of MasOrange from Lorca, for €4.25 billion in cash. This transaction brings the French operator's ownership to 100% of its Spanish subsidiary, whose accounts will now be fully consolidated.
