Saint-Gobain shares break above €72.74 and climb 2.8%
The building materials manufacturer posts a strong gain mid-morning, in a well-oriented CAC 40. This advance extends a rebound under way for several weeks, as the group has just completed a major disposal in Scandinavia.
A €72.74 threshold reclaimed, but the MM200 still to be broken
Saint-Gobain shares gain 2.8% to €74.78, after breaking above their highest level of the last 30 sessions at €72.74, which has now become support. The stock ranks among the strongest gainers in the CAC 40, whose index rises 0.7%.
The stock is up 12.2% over the week, but still down nearly 12% over three months. It trades above its MM20 (€67.69, a 10.5% gap) and its MM50 (€69.65), but remains 2.1% below its MM200, at €76.35. The RSI at 73 signals an overbought configuration after this acceleration.
