SEB stock at the bottom of the SBF 120, down 2.5% despite +17.7% over one year
The small household appliance maker falls again during the session, in a Parisian market clearly trending lower. This decline follows a week of recovery and a few days after slightly revised analyst opinions.
The stock falls back to €56.40 but remains on its 50-day moving average
The stock of S.E.B. falls 2.59% to €56.40, while the SBF 120 drops 1.64% and the CAC 40 falls 1.63%. It ranks near the bottom of the SBF 120 index, among the largest decliners, far from the moves of Teleperformance or Genfit.
The decline erases part of a 6.42% gain over the week, but the share price remains close to its 50-day moving average (€56.26) and above its 20-day moving average (€55.53), a gap of 1.57%.
Around the stock, the session is marked by a sharp correction on Wall Street on Thursday, with the Nasdaq losing 5.52%, a decline that spread to Asian and European stock markets.
Goldman Sachs lowers its target to €70 while AlphaValue raises it to €73.60
Two analyst opinions were published on Wednesday, November 4. Goldman Sachs cuts its price target from €72 to €70 while keeping its buy rating, implying a potential upside of about 24% relative to the day's price.
AlphaValue, for its part, raises its target from €73.30 to €73.60, also with a buy rating. These adjustments follow the publication of the first nine months' accounts on October 22, when the group announced a 24.5% increase in recurring operating income and an operating margin rising from 4.7% to 5.8%.
The group had then described a deteriorated macroeconomic and geopolitical environment, with uncertain consumer prospects and increased inflationary pressures on costs. The support at €52.20 and the resistance at €58.25 now frame the share price.
