SES appoints Michel Scholer, former senior Luxembourg official, to its board
The Luxembourg-based satellite operator has integrated Michel Scholer, Secretary General of the Luxembourg government and Chief of Staff to the Prime Minister, into its board of directors. The appointment took effect immediately.
A senior Luxembourg government official joins the board
SES announced on September 23, 2026 the entry of Michel Scholer to its board of directors, effective immediately. He serves as Secretary General of the Luxembourg government and Chief of Staff to the Prime Minister.
Prior to these positions, he was a Senior Advisor at the International Monetary Fund, as well as at the Luxembourg Ministry of Finance. He was proposed to SES's board of directors by the government of the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg.
